A Court of Mist and Fury is the Second book in the a Court of Thorns and Roses series. This one is my favorite in the series so far. This book starts off with Feyre having a nightmare from the events at the end of the first book. Tamlin and Feyre are Engaged and Planning a wedding. We meet the Character that i find the most annoying, Ianthe. I never trusted her from the beginning and the end of the book proved me right. Eventually, we get to the wedding and Feyre is screaming in her head pleading for someone to help get out of this wedding and then someone does come, Rhysand. He uses the deal they made in the first book to get Feyre out of the wedding and then takes her to the night court. Feyre gets mad because though she didn't want to marry Tamlin anymore, she didn't want to have to explain why to him in a week. So, Feyre proceeds to hit Rhysand over the head with her shoe. I thought that it was hilarious when she did it. Let's backtrack to why i find Ianthe annoying. One, she kind of takes over the wedding planning which i think is a little bit uncool. Two, I feel like she doesn't really care for Feyre, though she acts like it. If she did care for Feyre she would be there for her through her PTSD from the events of last book. Feyre spends a week a night court and then goes home to which she find her room a complete mess because of her being taken to night court. Tamlin becomes increasingly more abusive. The tipping point for Feyre is when he decides to lock Feyre in the house. Feyre because of her PTSD has a panic attack. Rhysand then sends his cousin Mor to come save her from Tamlin and takes her back to the night court, in which she decides to stay for a while. Afraid of what might happen if she goes back to tamlin. Over the next half of the book Feyre finds out that Rhysand is basically her soulmate and becomes the high lady of night court alongside Rhysand. Feyre's sister get turned into faeries and Feyre decided to be Rhysands spy to spy of Tamlin. I liked this book a lot better then the first one. I feel like it was a good pace. I liked that we got a new love interest that didn't have red flags. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. Follow me @extremelybookish123. Comment below book recommendations. Happy reading!!!
