Simon Snow is the Worst chosen one who's ever lived. At least that's what his vampire roommate, Baz says. Simon either can't make his wand work or he accidently sets things one fire. It's Simons last year at Watford school of magicks and his girlfriend broke up with him, there's a monster on the loose and Baz is missing. Carry on is based off the fictional book series, Simon Snow in the book Fangirl also by Rainbow Rowell. Carry On on was a bit slow in the first half of the book but once you get to chapter Twenty- Seven the story really picks up. I love the whole enemies to lovers trope between Baz and Simon because you wouldn't really expect that Baz would have a crush on Simon in the first half of the book. I Love how the author switches point of view so you can get every characters perspective. One of things i didn't like was when we find out the identity of the Antagonist, The Humdrum, the author doesn't really elaborate on it. I finished this book with more questions then answers. I would give this book a 3 out of 5 stars. I will be reviewing the sequel to Carry on, Wayward Son, next week. The Conclusion to the Simon Snow Series, Any Way the Wind Blows, comes out on July 6th,2021.
