Chain of Iron, my most anticipated book this year has finally come out and I couldn't be happier about it. If you didn't know Chain of Iron, is the second book in The Last Hours series. The First book being Chain of Gold, of course. Like Chain of Gold, Chain of Iron takes place in London during the Edwardian era. I am going to try to make this review as spoiler-free as possible for anyone that wants to read Chain of Gold and Chain of Iron but hasn't yet. I've spent month trying to figure out how exactly Cassandra Clare may go with James and Cordelia's wedding. I was hoping that James would realize that he shouldn't marry Cordelia wearing Grace's Bracelet and then he would take it off and realize that he doesn't want to married to Cordelia only for a year. I will say that, that didn't happen. James thought about it for Five seconds and then decided against it. During the Ceremony, it was kind of awkward. Most of people there didn't know that James and Cordelia only planned to married for a year. The Awkwardness got even worse when James and Cordelia got to their new house as a married couple. James made sure that Every room had things that were related to the Carstairs family despite James and Cordelia having the last name Herondale. Which is why, My Favorite ship in Chain of Iron is James and Cordelia. James and Cordelia throughout the entirety of two books have their ups and downs, especially in Chain of Iron, but no matter what you can always tell that they love each other. I do have another ship in Chain of Iron that i loved more than i did in the first book and that is Thomas and Alastair. Thomas and Alastair have their first Official Kiss in Chain of Iron After chapter's of Thomas trying to hate Alastair. There is actually

a new Ship that i hope Cassandra Clare does something with and that is Christopher and Grace. I liked their dynamic. Christopher was nice to Grace without her even using her powers on him. I think that made Grace Realize that maybe she didn't need to use her powers to make friends or find love. I would love to see something happen between these two by the end of the Series. Which brings to the next thing i want to talk about, Grace Blackthorn. I didn't hate her as much as i hated her in Chain of Iron. Especially now that her spell on james is broken. There was a really sad moment at the end of this book between James, Cordelia and Matthew that makes me excited to see what happen in Chain of Thorns. I Loved this book more than i loved the first book. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars.
