My Calamity Jane is the third and Final Book in The Lady Janies series. My Lady Jane is a Western Tale with Werewolves and Mind Control. Normally I wouldn't be interested in anything western related but I loved "My Lady Jane" and "My Plain Jane" so I thought I would this book a try. I loved the Main Character, Calamity Jane, just as I loved Jane Eyre and Jane Grey in the Authors other books. I also loved how Jane and her friends were apart of this western show that was really a cover for them trying to find the "Alpha". Another character I loved was Annie Oakley. Annie was Interesting because she was what this time period would say was a proper lady but Annie was also one of the few Women in this time to put her foot down and say "No, I'm not getting marry a complete stranger". I also loved that after Annie won the Shoot off between her and Frank, Frank actually proposed to her on the spot saying that the only girl he would want to marry was the one that could beat him in a shoot off. This brings me to my Favorite couple in the entire book, Frank and Annie. I loved how they didn't immediately fall in love with each other after only meeting once. My Calamity Jane had so many twist and turns that I wasn't expecting, one of them being that not only are Jane and Frank Werewolves, but Bill was also one. I also thought it was interesting that werewolves can actually understand dogs. I would rate this book 4 out of 5.
