At the beginning of Queen of Noting, we get to see how Jude is faring in the human world after being exiled by Cardan in The Wicked King. We see her struggle to find a job because of her lack of education in the human world. We also get to see how angry she is at Cardan for exiling her shortly after they got married. I Really liked seeing the human world more in Queen of Nothing. Then, Taryn, Jude's twin sister visits Vivi, Jude and Oak in their apartment and starts talking about how she killed Locke and now Cardan is investigating. I was Kinda happy that Taryn realized that Locke didn't love her because of the way he treated treated Jude in The Cruel Prince.

Taryn tells Jude that they have some kind of thing that forces you to tell the truth so, she can't lie about killing Locke. Jude decides to go in place of Taryn to Elfhame and be Questioned by Cardan. Jude goes to Elfhame and is Questioned by Cardan. While be Questioned, Jude says that she loved Locke and Cardan says "Sometimes I think you really did" and in that moment i knew that Cardan knew that Jude was pretending to be Taryn. Cardan takes Jude to his room and tries to make her confess that she is Jude and not Taryn and then someone breaks into the room a kidnapped Jude. I really loved the chapter after this. Especially when Vivi tells Jude that Cardan came to their apartment in the Human and looked like he would tear the entire building down to get to her. I love the enemies to lovers relationship between Jude and Cardan. I would rate this book 4/5. Follow me on Instagram @extremelybookish123. Comment any book recommendations below.
