Rule of Wolves is the Second and last book in the King of Scars duology. Rule of wolves started on a very sad note for me. Not only is that The Darkling back with a vengeance (Which is more terrifying than sad), but we have David's Funeral. I really loved David as a character and i really sad that he is gone. What made me even more sad was when Genya found his journal that was full of all the different compliments he wanted to give her.
I feel like Rule of Wolves came out at the right time. It came out a little bit after the Shadow and Bone series on Netflix came out. It was exactly the kind of thing I wanted to read after watching all the episodes. Especially, when we get appearances by Kaz, Jesper, Wylan and later on Inej. I really love the crows. Even when they are not all together. The Ending really made me excited for the third book in the Six of Crows series that was announced. I’m also excited to potentially see Zoya and Nikolai together.
I didn’t really follow Nina’s storyline mostly because I was more interested in Zoya and Nikolai’s storyline with the Darkling. I gave this book a 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 stars. Follow me on Insta @extremelybookish123 or click on the insta icon at the top of my homepage. Happy Reading!!!
