The Diviner's is book series about a group of teenagers that have supernatural powers. The series takes place in New York in the 1920s. The first book in the series is The Diviner's. Usually the only historical fiction I read are books that take place in the Victorian or Edwardian Era and I decided it was time to branch out try another book set in another time period that I don't know a lot about.
I heard about this book from Several people on Youtube and on Goodreads and it seemed exactly the kind of book I would read. I will admit that some of the 1920s expressions took some getting used to. I loved this book. I liked that it was supernatural and a mystery. I also loved the Romance. I was a big fan of Theta and Memphis's Relationship whether or not that turns into a Romance I don't know but i hope so. Also I love Henry. There are some truly amazing nods to different things that happened in this time period and I hope to start the next book "Lair of dreams" as soon as I can. I rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
