The Selection is the first book in a 6 book series. The Selection takes place in a futuristic world where everyone is assigned a number. The Highest class in One, which is the Royal Family. In this world, they have a selection for when a Prince comes of age and can get married. At this time, all sixteen year olds are invited to apart of the selection. This book is basically a futuristic version of The Bachelor. This book is completely an Okay book. I don't really have much to say about this book. The Concept is Interesting. I liked that our main ship started out as friends who were just helping each other. I will admit that i did hate the Love triangle. I really didn't like the other guy. I liked Prince Maxon and America. I think i'm used to a lot of action in the books i read and so i didn't really enjoy it as much. I would rate this book a 3 out of 5 stars.
