How to Read the Books in Leigh Bardugo's "Grishaverse" after you have watched "Shadow and Bone"

ellaray625

I have been a Fan of the Grishaverse for a few months now. I didn't really care for the "Shadow and Bone" Trilogy itself as you may have been able to tell through my different blog post on the Trilogy. I did, however, Love the "Six of Crows" Duology. I went into this series wanting to read it because the teaser trailer for the show looked really good. Right, after i finished reading "Crooked Kingdom" and dealt with the fact that one of the main characters who i will not name is dead, I watched the official trailer for the show. I think everyone who knows me knows that i was talking about how perfect the casting was for the crows. I was telling my friends who don't even read books to read "Six of Crows". Anyway, After the show came out and everyone watched it people were asking me which books to read after watching the show. I decided to make one list that contains all the books in the Grishaverse that i think are important if you want to get into this world. I might also being including some other optional books that i haven't read but would like to get around to it.

I started out with the "Shadow and Bone" Trilogy First:

#1 Shadow and Bone

#2 Siege and Storm (Some of my favorite character are in this one)

#3 Ruin and Rising

After reading the "Shadow and Bone" Trilogy, I read the "Six of Crows" Duology.

#1 Six of Crows

#2 Crooked Kingdom (Prepare yourself for a Sad ending on this one)

I heard that their might be a Third book for "Six of Crows" So, i will keep you updated on that. Next i read " The King of Scars Duology" or Most fans call it "The Nikolai Duology". Don't worry about who Nikolai is. You will meet him in the "Shadow and Bone" books.

Anyway, these books are:

#1 King of Scars

#2 Rule of Wolves

King of Scars and Rule of Wolves will have Reviews going up in a month or so.

Some optional reading are:

The Lives of Saints

The Language of Thorns

I hope this helps anyone who needs it. Happy Reading!!!
